The event will take place at Community College of Philadelphia (1700 Spring Garden, Philadelphia, PA 19130) from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Come to the symposium to learn about the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) guidance on the reentry population that impacts criminal justice, human service, and real estate professionals. The guidance addresses how the discriminatory effects and disparate treatment methods of proof apply in Fair Housing Act cases. A housing provider cannot deny rent or renewal of a lease based on an individual’s criminal history. Learn more about how this guidance can create more housing opportunities for the reentry population.

The event will feature knowledgable speakers and workshops that specialize in reentry, crmininal justice, and housing.

Agencies interested in having a resource table must pay $50 per resource table. The $50 fee includes registration of one representative and one table per agency. If an agency rents a resource table and wants to send more than one representative to the Symposium, it must pay $25 per additional representative.
